Setting up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) provides an additional layer of security for your PARAT account. In addition to your password (or Magic Link), you will need a code from an authenticator app.

How to set up 2FA

  1. Go to Settings (Account) in your PARAT dashboard.
  2. Look for the Security section or the 2FA Banner.
  3. Click on Set up 2FA.
  4. A QR code will be displayed. Scan it with an authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password).
  5. Enter the 6-digit code from the app into PARAT to complete the setup.

Recovery Codes

After setup, you will receive recovery codes. Save them in a safe place! If you lose your smartphone, these codes are the only way to regain access to your account.
